Well this must be heart week…

So I woke up Sunday Morning about 7:30 and noticed something…my heart was racing. I laid there for a moment and then grabbed a watch and clocked it. I was doing 100 bpm in a 60 bpm zone. Crap, I was in AFIB again. I went down stairs and called my cardiologist and got the […]

Hanging around waiting for spring

Well it’s cold today in New England, but tomorrow it’s suppose to get into the mid 50’s. I keep thinking about calling the insurance company to resore the coverage on my vespa, but then I think, I want to see more than two days over 50 before I start tiding again. Soon! I’ve seen some […]

Ha! I might become immortal!!

So I got a letter in the mail from Mass General Hospital. They’re asking me to join ‘…a study to identify genetic or inherited factors that contribute to aortic aneurysms and aortic dissection.’. Since this might be able to help someone in the future (and maybe one of my descendants), I’ve agreed to join the […]

Saw my Cardiologist…who knows what triggered it

Well I saw my cardiologist on Wednesday. After reviewing my records and listening to me and taking my blood pressure he said he has no idea what triggered the atrial fibrillation. My blood pressure is great, the test for throid problems in the hospital came out negative, I’m not over weight, I don’t smoke, so […]

Wow, good news…for now.

Wow, good news…for now. I am not looking at surgery in the immediate future, looks like it will be 3+ years from now.

The reason I was sent in is that the measurements taken at my last CT scan was read as 5.1, however Dr Issalbacher at Mass General said that it’s all in the […]

Well today we find out what is going to happen.

Wed 5:30 AM – Well this hasn’t been my week for sleeping! Even the Tylenol PM didn’t help last night. I tossed and turned and took forever to fall asleep, then kept waking and at 5:15 I finally gave in and got up. We’ll be leaving at 6:15 anyway so, what the heck. Do you […]

I’m home all tests negative

1:40 PM – The stress test showed no issues with my heart so they sent me home. We just got home and I’m tired and going to take a nap. I go back in Wednesday for my scheduled appointment with the cardiologist. Thanks everyone for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers
